The unit has great sound but it isn't usable with the iphone 3gs for these reasons and it's a real shame. Speakers are great for playing music by the speakers suffer interference from the iphone when the phone is seeking/checking for reception. The sound quality is fine for my purposes- it can go louder than i want it to, voices are clear and it is pleasant to listen to. This dock is excellent quality and great sound. Works ok except that the 'speaker volume' icon often appears ('freezes') on the phone screen when you take the phone out.

there is little i can add other than to say it works perfectly, the sound quality is good, the remote works perfectly and i genuinely use it every day. Not bad value i think. Nice size and style, however sound is a bit "tinny" when volume down low, however when volume up loud, sound is fine. . Still works though.
